Regional Marketing Manager – EMEA

Location: Remote - London

EMEA Regional Marketing Manager, Distributor Territories

We are seeking a Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) to work with the EMEA Regional Marketing Leadership to conceive, design and execute marketing activities to support our commercial objectives within our distributor territories.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in genomics and demonstrated experience localizing marketing programs in the Life Sciences. You will interact cross functionally with members from commercial sales, technical support, regional marketing and global marketing, and will be the central point of contact for territorial market planning, implementation, new product launches and local market development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regionalization of marketing programs to serve the EMEA distributor territories;
  • Translation of global strategic plans into tactical territorial plans that support business objectives;
  • Management of local vendors, conferences, trade shows, user group meetings, roadshows and channels;
  • Define channel training requirements linked to program execution;
  • Knowledge of key accounts, KOLs and centres of excellence within the territory;
  • Act as territory point-of-contact for co-marketing activities;
  • Educate Global Marketing on local regulatory and compliance requirements within the distributor territories;
  • Develop sales tools and training materials that support sales teams in achieving territory goals;
  • Establishing local regional operational processes and systems;
  • Provide territorial market intelligence to provide insight to global marketing and product management;
  • Drive demand & grow the marketing funnel in close collaboration with our distributors;
  • Ensure our CRM systems are up-to-date and accurate;
  • Works closely with the US and Global Marcom team to develop program metrics & effective tactics;
  • Measure, evaluate and report on the impact of owned marketing programs (including budget, ROI);
  • Develop marketing strategies to target market segments such as Immunotherapy, Pharma, CRISPR and others as required within the Distributor territories to accelerate penetration;


Required Skills and Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field (or the equivalent knowledge and experience);
  • Master’s or PhD degree is desirable;
  • Extensive knowledge of Life Science markets, products & marketing channels in assigned territory;
  • Extensive knowledge of NGS application preferred;
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of field marketing experience in Life Sciences;
  • Combination of strong operational and strategic marketing management skills;
  • Ability to work both independently and with distributed teams to achieve goals;
  • Excellent English communication skills (written / oral / presentation).
  • Additional language skills a distinct advantage;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and translate materials to the native language(s) used in one or more countries in assigned territory;
  • Must be willing to travel up to 60%
